 Worship Services

JFUMC offers three Worship Services on Sundays.  First , we have our 8:30 Traditional Service in the Sanctuary.  This is a service with the Apostle's Creed, singing songs from The United Methodist Hymnal, and doing things we remember doing in a "traditional" service.  This Service is staying the same, and you can be sure of what you will be getting each and every Sunday!   We have two different services that occur at 11:00 am.  The "Cokesbury" Service will be using the Cokesbury hymnal and you get a chance to hear Brad Moore, or one of our many talented lay speakers.  This Service is filling up quickly, so get there early.  Then we have Jammin' in the Gym, a reprise of our blue jean, or contemporary service.  Come as you are at 11:00 am to the Family Life Center.  We have a wonderful Worship Team, and they are ready to lead!!  Hopefully, you will find your "spot" in one of these three Services, invite friends and family and join us during the busy summer months.  Also, don't forget we have LIFE Groups for all ages and Journey Kids that all meet at 9:45 am.

"Spiritual revival begins as we respond so passionately to Jesus' unconditional, transformational and inivitational love that we long for the church to be more than it is."  Bishop Gary Mueller

Please join us and United Methodists throughout the Arkansas Annual Conference as we pray and prepare for spiritual revival.   From January 1 through February 10, you can access jfumcspiritualrevival Facebook page where daily prayers wil be posted.  You are invited to use these daily prayers in our quest for spiritual revival within our JFUMC.

On January 24, we will begin a sermon series on God's Love:  Week One (Jan 24) God's Unconditional Love; Week Two (Jan 31) God's Transformational Love and Week Three (Feb 7) God's Invitational Love.

Our Mission 5000 program continues each and every Wednesday at 5:30 pm and Saturday at 11:30 am.  We invite you to join us for a free, homecooked meal and fellowship with members of our community.  If you are interested in assisting with cooking, setup, serving or cleanup, please contact Jim Silvi, 501-425-2799.
