 Worship Services

JFUMC is the oldest church in Jacksonville and yet the most contemporary.  We have something for everyone and welcome people from ALL walks of life.  On Sundays, we offer a blended Worship Service at 10:00 am in the Sanctuary, combining traditional and contemporary styles of worship.  We have a hand bell choir, chancel choir, praise team, children's times, hymns, as well as upbeat praise music, liturgies, prayers, first Sunday communion and, of course, preaching!  Our Senior Pastor, Clif Christopher, leads this Service.  Assisting him is our Associate Pastor, Brad Moore, and Charles Watt, Minister of Pastoral Care.  We also offer Sunday School classes for all ages beginning at 8:45 am.  In your search for a church home, if you find yourself with any need or concern, please do not hesitate to call on us.  We would be honored to be of service to you.

The Class of 2016 Graduates will be recognized on Sunday, May 22nd, at the 10:00 am Worship Service.  Good luck and God bless you in all your future endeavors.

The Youth will be holding a car wash fundraiser in the Church parking lot on Saturday, May 28th, from 9:00 to 1:00 pm.  Your donations will be greatly appreciated.

MAD (Music, Arts, and Drama) Week

MAD Week is an intensive week (similar to VBS) in a music, arts, and drama setting.  During the week of June 13 through 17, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, the Journey Kids at JFUMC will participate in the production of the musical, Legends At Camp Garner Creek.  They will spend time each day learning music, staging, speaking, and helping make costumes for the production, while learning about the Bible characters incorporated in the musical.  On Friday evening, the 17th, at 6:30 pm, in the Family Life Center, the children will perform the musical for our congregation.  To make this program a success and help grow these young disciples, we need the assistance of several volunteers.  Contact Melanie Churchill, 870-833-0925, or, for additional information.
