 Worship Services

We are excited to be offering three Worship Services on Sundays.  First of all, we have our 8:30 Liturgical Service in the Sanctuary.  This is a service with the Apostle's Creed, singing songs from The United Methodist Hymnal, and doing things we remember doing in a "traditional" service.  This Service is staying the same, and you can be sure of what you will be getting each and every Sunday!   We have two different services that occur at 11:00 am.  The "Cokesbury" Service will be using the Cokesbury hymnal and you get a chance to hear Brad Moore, our Pastor Emeriti, or one of our many talented lay speakers.  This Service is filling up quickly, so get there early.  Then we have Jammin' in the Gym, a reprise of our blue jean, or contemporary service.  Come as you are at 11:00 am to the Family Life Center.  We have a wonderful Worship Team, and they are ready to lead!!  Hopefully, you will find your "spot" in one of these three Services, invite friends and family and join us during the busy summer months.  Also, don't forget we have LIFE Groups for all ages and Journey Kids that all meet at 9:45 am.

Building Better Moms will be meeting on Wednesday, October 7th, at 6:30 pm, in the Connection Center.  The program will be "Couponing: 50 Cents is Less, but Free is Best!"  Come early and eat at Mission 5000's free meal served each Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.  Childcare is also provided.  If you need additional information, contact Melanie Churchill, 870-833-0915, or Carolyn Gray, 501-351-5083.

JFUMC is hosting an "After Football" party for the JHS football team and students on Friday, October 16th, starting immediately after the game and lasting until 11:30 pm.  We need donations of hot dogs and buns, Fritos, chili, shredded cheese, desserts and drinks.  There will be signup sheets after each Service.  These items can be dropped off at the Church Office.  Monetary donations would also be appreciated to cover food and entertainment.  Additionally, we need adult volunteers to chaperon this event.  If you have any questions, contact Michael Hoffmann, 501-215-3102.

Call Jo Ann Silvi, at the Church Office, 982-8176, if you have any questions.
